KÜSTER receives Unique Municipal Award
Ehringshausen, June 7th, 2006 - KÜSTER Holding GmbH has received the "Prometheus Column", a special and so far unique award by the Ehringshausen municipal authorities. In a ceremony with representatives of the company and members of the municipal council Eberhard Niebch, Mayor of Ehringshausen, presented the prize to Mr. Klaus Küster, President of KÜSTER Holding GmbH.

In his laudation the Mayor explained that the municipal council had decided to honour the company for its outstanding performance and importance for the community.
For the development of the electric parking brake Küster Holding GmbH was awarded "Hessen Champion" in the category "Global Market Leaders" by the government of the Federal State Hesse and the Federation of Hessian Employers Associations in 2005. "In addition to the economic success the family-owned company also is a close partner to the Ehringshausen community in charitable and cultural aspects", Mr. Niebch pointed out. He mentioned the company´s awards for its plant fire brigade and the importance of the largest employer in Ehringshausen for the training of young people. He appreciated that the company not only offers more than usual training jobs close to the home of young people but that they are also guaranteed a job after their training period. He commented on the company´s excellent reputation for charitable and cultural reasons, for example support of the Ehringshausen hospital and patronages for local clubs and associations. This outstanding commitment should be reflected in the "Prometheus Column", made by the bell-foundry Rincker in Sinn, since Prometheus is regarded as the friend and cultural founder of man. Mr. Klaus Küster and Mr. Dieter Küster confirmed that the company is traditionally committed to the location Ehringshausen and is always pleased to provide support.
