KÜSTER companies receive DAF "Preferred Supplier Award"

Two companies of the KÜSTER-Group, KÜSTER Automotive Door Systems GmbH and KÜSTER Automotive Control Systems GmbH, received the "Preferred-Supplier-Award", a special award by the truck manufacturer DAF, based in Eindhoven/NL on June 9th, 2004.

This award is annually given to suppliers which have on the long term made a name for themselves by excellent quality (low ppm-rates), delivery reliability and a cooperation in partnership. KÜSTER ADS GmbH and ACS GmbH received this award together with another supplier from France, the Netherlands, Germany and Great Britain respectively. Window regulator systems of KÜSTER ADS and oil dipsticks supplied by KÜSTER ACS are used in DAF trucks. Especially because of the trucks´ high kilometric performance DAF makes absolutely high demands on the applied products. Due to extreme price problems on the truck market based on the pricing pressure by forwarding agents DAF focuses on efficient and competitive suppliers.

In the ceremony in the historical DAF museum in Eindhoven the award was handed over by Mr. Jos Smetsers, Member of the Board of DAF, to the managing directors of KÜSTER ADS and ACS. In his speech Mr. Smetsers referred to the decades of successful cooperation with KÜSTER and appreciated the good performance with regard to quality, delivery reliability and competitiveness.
