Extension of manufacturing site Ehringshausen:
2nd phase of construction of the new EBP production hall

The new EBP production hall, finished in 2002, is now enlarged in the 2nd phase of construction. By this extension, already provided in the planning and approval procedure of the first hall in spring and summer 2002, the manufacturing area of the first hall is doubled (additional 1,600 m²).

The enlargement has become necessary due to the continuing positive order trend of the product field "Electric Parking Brake" of KÜSTER Automotive Control Systems GmbH; especially by the upcoming SOP (Start of Production) of the Renault X74 with delivery of the manufacturing facilities in week 31/04 as well as by production start for Ssang Yong in autumn. The new production hall will also be used by the logistics department of KÜSTER Automotive Control Systems GmbH, which will be able to handle the growing material flow on a third of the area of the hall to be constructed.
