MAN “Trucknology Supplier 2007” Award for KÜSTER ADS

On May 29th 2008, only nearly two months after the last award for Küster by Porsche, also MAN presented its so-called “Trucknology Supplier 2007” award to the ten best suppliers on the occasion of the supplier day in Unterschleißheim.

About 350 suppliers who had been invited to this year´s supplier day were informed about the company´s business plan by Professor Dr. K. V. Schaller, Director of Engineering and Purchasing, and M. Buchhauser, Head of Central Purchasing.

It was pointed out that the new products TGX and TGS represent the “Truck of the Year 2008” and that according to own rating MAN has the most successful product and the highest growth rates of all suppliers of heavy trucks.

During a gala dinner at the Hauser Castle the awards were handed over. In the ceremony M. Buchhauser und Prof. Dr. K.V. Schaller honoured the suppliers´ achievements. According to Mrs. Buchhauser the reasons for this year´s selection of Trucknology Suppliers are on the one hand the laureates´ outstanding degree of innovation, quality, supply guarantee and their cost awareness, on the other hand their positive attitude to join MAN on the way to new solutions.

We are very pleased that we have set new standards for the TGX/TGS series and we are sure that we can come up with something even better.
