KÜSTER Automotive Door Systems receives Porsche Supplier Award 2008

On this occasion the Porsche Management Board honoured the best suppliers with the “Porsche Supplier Award 2008”. Eight of the ten supplier that received the award are suppliers of production material. Without prior announcement and therefore surprisingly KÜSTER received on of these desired supplier awards. The excellent product and logistics quality of the KÜSTER supplies were particularly pointed out in the honorific speech. Jochen Burk, Managing Director of KÜSTER Automotive Door Systems GmbH, accepted the award from the Porsche Executives Holger P. Härter and Michael Macht. In the course of the evening Dr. Wendelin Wedeking, Chief Executive Officer of Porsche AG, honoured the “Best of the best” of these ten award winners, Bose Automotive GmbH, this year´s “Supplier of the Year”. KÜSTER Automotive Door Systems GmbH is an operating subsidiary of KÜSTER Holding GmbH and supplies window regulators and door control systems for the Porsche models 911 Coupé and Convertible, Boxster and Cayman. The KÜSTER-Group with headquarters in Ehringshausen near Wetzlar is a family-owned medium-sized company with a successful business tradition of more than 80 years. In 2007 total sales of the group amounted to 380 million Euro, mainly as automotive supplier, with about 2,500 employees worldwide.
