The Volkswagen Group Award 2014 was presented to Thorsten Connemann, Managing Director of Küster Holding GmbH, at the Porsche plant in Leipzig.

Since 2003 the Volkswagen Group honors its best suppliers for their innovative capabilities, product quality, development expertise and project management.

This year a total of 18 companies received the Volkswagen Group Award.

In their speeches at the ceremony Dr. Martin Winterkorn, Chairman of the Board of Management of Volkswagen AG, and and Dr. Francisco Javier Garcia Sanz, Member of the Board of Management of Volkswagen AG with responsibility for Procurement, underlined the importance of a good partnership between company and suppliers for successful future operations and expressed their thanks to the representatives of the award-winning suppliers for their "outstanding performance in a spirit of partnership".

This gratitude is hereby extended to all who have contributed towards achieving this award.
