50 years of KÜSTER window regulators
50 years ago, the first KÜSTER window regulator was in the VW Beetle 1200. This went into series production and laid the foundation for a great success story.
In 1978 KÜSTER started the serial production of the first electric cable window regulator in the Audi 80. Thus KÜSTER contributed decisively to the growing need for more comfort in vehicles.
In 1995 KÜSTER presented the first electronic control system for the VW Polo and paved the way for the entry into the world of mechatronics. Today electromechanical products account for nearly 70% of KÜSTER revenues.
