Steel wire cables and steel wire strands are important machine elements that have many important tasks such as carrying, supporting, lifting, stretching, actuating and holding in many areas of engineering.

At temperatures of -40°C to +250°C, steel wire ropes offer secure function and a long service life. Special preliminary and post-forming allow for excellent handling and are essential in processing different wire cable products.

Hardly any other machine element can consolidate as many technical advantages as the steel wire cable. These include flexibility, elasticity, high load-carrying capacity and wear resistance, as well as beneficial flexural fatigue properties.

We are a full-service supplier for shifting systems that develops and produces manual, automatic and shift-by-wire gearshift systems. From the concept to the readiness for series production “Made in Germany” from the buttons through to the transmission connections.

For more than 30 years, our company has created shifting and selector cables and automatic wires in various designs.

With many years of experience in the production of manual gearshift systems, as well as our activities in the shift-by-wire segment with our own software and electronics development and production. These combine the high quality requirements for the overall system with maximum flexibility.

The modular gearshift design allows flexible use in different vehicle models and integrates great synergy effect. Thanks to the use of modern design programs and stress calculations the weight and space optimised gearshift system fulfil the highest haptic requirements.

The innovative, non-contact sensor concept for automatic gearshift systems also records the selector lever position during the movement without gaps. This can, optionally, determine the switching speed and can very effectively recognise the original request of the driver because of the individual teach-in of each shift lever. Component tolerances are compensated and excellent measuring accuracy is combined with a high system robustness.

We develop and produce to the customer's wishes with respect to virtually every established variant today but place our focus clearly on cable window regulator technology which we launched on the European market in the 70s.

In the door systems product segment, we have single-rail and double-rail cable window regulators, continuous-path regulators, compact regulators and door modules in our product range. Our window regulator systems are available as manual, electric or electronically driven or controlled variants and, depending on the customer's wishes, available with and without pinch protection and corresponding comfort features. The adjustment of roller blinds and boot cover lifters are also included in our range of services.

A good example for how we use our innovative strength to refine even a well-established system like the cable window regulator is the compact window regulator, available either as a stand-alone system with a fully pressed base plate or as a constructed modular variant.

The compact regulator masterfully combines the economic advantages of the customary systems up to now – the single-rail and double-rail cable window regulator. It is suitable for both conventional and modular door concepts. With an improved efficiency of 20%, compared to a two-rail regulator, the assembly time is reduced by up to 15% and the weight by up to 20%.

In addition, we are constantly working on optimising cable window regulator technology in economic terms, for example, by means of standardisation, modularisation and construction kit capability

Our incentive to combine the good properties of proven systems and to expand them is also included in the increased comfort needs of the end users as well as in the growing requirements from OEMs placed on us as a system supplier.

Our “remote control systems” product area offers a wide range of levers with various strokes basing on the rack and pinion- or wrapping around principle. They can transmit both, in push and pull direction. We distinguish between various load classes, and the many different end fittings also allow for various connections. Remote operation is possible up to 16 meters distance.

Our products are very robust and low-maintenance; they are very efficient and are distinguished by their high durability. The above mentioned levers and controls, combined into a support console or a control module, can also be used to create more complex assembly groups like seat consoles and drawbars. Naturally, electric and electronic combinations are also possible.

Our product portfolio also offers electronic lever units ranging from linear levers to a 360° joystick with application-specific configurations.
